Bedouin Tents at the Cape of Stomps

The South African trance scene is growing. No, not just growing, it is skyrocketing, No, more moonrocketing or spacerocketing. Something massive. Virtually every weekend there are festivals somewhere near Cape Town. Sure, Joburg also has festivals… But everybody knows that if you want a really good outdoor stomp, you need to come down to the Cape. It’s not just because Capetonians are more chilled out than up country peeps, it is because our natural beauty and massive hidden open spaces make CT the perfect place for these digital Woodstocks. While some people might be happy for indoor trance parties like those at Trinity, most people are looking for the connection with nature that only comes from getting out of the city and away from all of that daily grind and out into the open. Of, course, this being South Africa and with our harsh summer sun, when you are out there in a bikini and boots you need to ensure that you have enough shade to keep you from toasting completely. There are plenty of festivals that are held in forests or with rivers to help you to cool off, but you are still going to need somewhere shaded properly for people to chill, stomp and just generally have a good time. You are also going to need some waterproof shelters for the DJ’s – they can’t pump the decks if their gear is wrecked. Tentickle Tents has been providing some of their iconic bedouin stretch tents for the trance scene for quite a while: Love and Light, Boom, Fusion, Tomorrow Land, Synergy and Vortex to name only a few. Their unique designs have become synonymous with music and trance festivals and it is easy to see why. This is partly because they offer waterproof and fire retardant tents, but also because they offer unique designs and decor. Seriously – next time you are at a trance festival like Love and Light take a look at their unique red and yellow designs, or their trippy stretch decor from Vortex (You can see more of these weird and wacky designs here). Next time you are at a trance festival, ie this weekend, take another look at the awesome bedouin stretch tents that you are stomping under, then think about Tentickle Tents.
